 HOW ABOUT OEM AND REPLACEMENTS (GO HERE FOR MORE)

There is quite a bit of confusion about what oem, replacements, and replacement parts are.  Most of it centers around the confusion about "quality".  OEM segments would like you to believe that they have the "quality" and everything else is "less than".  The truth of the matter is that many of the same parts come from the same manufacturing source.  The difference is in name and price.


 ORDERING

WE DO NOT STOCK MANY OF THE ITEMS THAT WE MAKE AVAILABLE TO YOU.  OUR GREATEST GIFT TO YOU IS THAT WE HAVE ORGANIZED AND MADE AVAILABLE A LARGE RANGE OF PRODUCTS, MANY UNKNOWN TO THE AVERAGE DEALERSHIP.  HATCH SPENT THE GREATER PART OF 5 YEARS IN COLLECTING PRODUCT SOURCES, BUILDING THE WEB SITE, AND MAINTAINING OVER 250,000 PARTS AND THEIR PRICES. 

 

IF YOU ORDER THE WRONG PART---IF YOU SUPPLY WRONG INFORMATION--THEN YOU PAY FOR THE RETURN.  IF YOU ORDER THE WRONG PART, IT IS YOU THAT WILL PAY FOR THE INITIAL SHIPMENT AS WELL AS THE RETURN.  WRONG PARTS ARE YOUR BASIC RESPONSIBILITY TO GIVE GOOD AND VALID INFORMATION.  IF WE HAVE THE PART LISTED WRONG, THEN IT IS OUR EXPENSE.

RETURNS

THERE IS NO RETURN ON ANY ITEM THAT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.  IT THEN BECOMES "USED" AND YOU CAN RESELL IT ON EBAY.  THERE IS NO WARRANTY THAT ANY ELECTRICAL ITEM, EXCEPT THOSE THAT ARE SPECIFICALLY WARRANTIED ON THE PAGE WHERE THEY APPEAR.  THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON "SOUND" OF EXHAUSTS AND THERE IS NO RETURN ON EXHAUSTS THAT HAVE DISCOLORED.  THIS IS AN OWNER INDUCED CONDITION AND IS CAUSED BY EXCESSIVE LEANING OF THE CARBURETORS.

RETURNS CREATE SEVERAL PROBLEMS.  WE GENERALLY GET STUCK HAVING TO STOCK THEM BECAUSE THE DISTRIBUTORS CHARGE US SHIPPING PLUS 30% RESTOCKING FEE.  THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ELECTRICALS AND THEY WONT ACCEPT ANYTHING THAT HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM ITS WRAPPER.  AND THEY REFUSE TO ACCEPT RETURNS ON ANYTHING THAT HAS BEEN INSTALLED AND RETURNED FOR OTHER THAN NON-PERFORMANCE.

PRICING

 We shop for the lowest prices available from many distributors and we find much price agreement among them.  One of the ways we deal with this is to cut shipping distances of our vendors--that way we can continue to keep costs down.  We have kept the suggested list price of the distributors and concentrate on fast service to you.  You will find that you do not need to price shop.  We do not charge a handling fee--a fee for processing the order.  We round-off the shipping costs (ie. $13.80 becomes $14)


 FREIGHT

THE AVERAGE PACKAGE COSTS $11 TO SHIP UPS, GROUND--IN THE 48 STATES.  THINK ABOUT FREIGHT CHARGES AS SAVING YOU ABOUT 2 HOUR'S TIME BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO A DEALER, (1 HOUR) PLACE THE ORDER AND WAIT SEVERAL DAYS TO (1 HOUR ) RETURN AND PICK UP YOUR PART.

WE SHIP UNITED PARCEL SERVICE  BY DEFAULT:   IN ORDER TO CREATE A RECORD THAT IS DEFENDABLE .  ORDERS SHIPPED BY US POSTAL SERVICE CANNOT BE EASILY TRACKED

 


CLAIMS

Damaged deliveries are the responsibility of the CUSTOMER AND carrier. 

Goods may not be returned except with written notice (e-mail) from us.  All returns are subject to the 30 day (after receipt) and 30% handling charge.  You pay for shipping each way.  If we made a mistake (SENDING THE WRONG PART) in processing your order then we assume the SHIPPING costs.


WARRANTY

Cyclewareables makes no warrantees whatsoever, expressed nor implied;  either written or oral, to purchasers nor users of the product.   Many of the products are warranted by the manufacturer.  All returns under such claim shall be shipped "Pre-Paid".  All returns will be inspected, must be in original packaging, and completely unused in anyway.  Electrics can not be ("tried" ) and sent back to us.  We ask that you determine if the part fits before you take it out of the packaging.
